Bryggeriet Frøya startet opp i april 2016 og har siden det holdt til på Uttian i Frøya kommune. De brygger øl som hyller kystkulturen, noe som gjenspeiles i deres valg av logo, navn på produktene og utforming av etikettene. Ølet brygges på gode råvarer med tålmodig håndverk, og er laget med tanke på å komplementere smakene i det rike utvalget av lokalprodusert mat på Frøya og på naboøyen Hitra.
