Hitramat is today Norway’s leading and Europe’s largest player in the processing of  browncrab. They process up to 4,500 tonnes of raw material annually, which makes up about 70% of all browncrab landed in Norway. In addition, they sell other locally harvested shellfish such as langoustines and scallops.

Hitramat is certified according to FSSC 22000, which is the highest standard in food safety, and employs up to 170 employees in high season.
